Enter the GT Omega Elite Series. If the name is not dead giveaway of how premium this chair is, then experience the chair first-hand will. With a nice color scheme, great leather upholstery and multiple adjustment settings, the GT Omega Elite is the best-selling model of the brand.
People buy the GT Omega Elite because of its amazing adjustability. The 190-degree reclining backrest, the 4D armrests and the good height adjustment all feel natural and seamless to adjust to your own liking.
The dimensions of the Omega Elite are 27.6 x 26.8 x 51.2 inches – generally good for anyone within the 5ft range. What you need to know, however, is that the GT Omega Elite can only support up to 120kg.
GT Omega proudly uses synthetic PVC leather and cold foam as the industry standard for all of their chairs. While these are proven to be very effective in terms of ergonomics, it does have a feint smell especially right out of the box. The bases are made of aluminium alloy.
While the cold foam and PVC leather do their tricks in making things comfortable for you, the two pillows that come along with the seat are oddly too stiff.
GT Omega is widely known for being unfriendly with the assembly. Unless you ask for the folks at Omega to set it up for you before it gets shipped to your place, you may have a hard time – given that you have barely any experience with gaming chair assembly.
Another reputable gaming chair from GT Omega, the PRO series is a heavy crowd favorite for its abundant adjustability settings as well as great value from a high-profile brand. It has the classic sporty look of the brand but with lesser padded areas – which is pretty good for gaming – both casual and competitive.
The GT Omega PRO does not shy away when it comes to multiple adjustment settings. You have your reclining backrest down to 190 degrees, a pair of 4D armrests, a class-4 piston height adjustment and removable pillows.
Lightweight is what many people consider GT Omega PRO as. Its dimensions are 27.56 x 26.77 x 51.18 inches – which makes it fitting for small to average heights within the 5ft range. It can also accommodate up to 120 kgs; so for the big players, this is not for you.
The GT Omega PRO uses standard-issue materials like the others in its category: PVC leather, aluminium alloy, cold-pressed foam and a class-4 piston lift.
For its price, it is very comfortable; the GT Omega PRO likes to keep things simple yet very gamer-like – from its minimal back padding to allow you to move more freely, to its personalized adjustments, it is easy to say that the PRO series takes its ergonomics very seriously.
As for assembly, you may have a hard time with it. Either look it up on YouTube videos or talk with people in gaming chair forums regarding the assembly if you have no prior experience on setting up racer seats.
Sometimes, leather just does not quite cut it. And if you need a fabric-based gaming chair, you will want to get the GT Omega PRO fabric edition. Made and built with everything great about the PRO series, this alternative has a one-of-a-kind upholstery that may just make everything more ergonomic: fabric.
Fabric version of the PRO Series remains the same except for its 160-degree reclining backrest; it has a wide seat rest, and a couple of 4D armrests plus the standard 4 class height adjustment.
The PRO fabric version is similar to the PVC leather version: 20.5 x 22.4 x 50 inches in dimensions which makes it great for players with short to average heights but less than welcoming for tall gamers. It can also support only up to 12kgs.
The main difference with the PRO fabric version is, well, the fabric finish. The thing is, most gaming chairs only use faux leather to make the upholstery strong. But not for the GT Omega PRO, though – it uses a special type of fabric that lasts longer than leather and gives off a cooler touch that complements the cold foam.
Thanks to its unique upholstery, the GT Omega PRO fabric edition is the most comfortable of the bunch. It feels soft to the touch but not too firm to make it like sitting on a block of concrete. We do wish that they improved the very tough pillows though.
Once again, even the PRO fabric version has some assembly issues. Do consult forums and YouTube videos for help.

Need something larger than the PRO and ELITE series? Try out the GT Omega EVO XL: a significantly larger gaming chair that suits much better for tall gamers without compromising the already-good specs of its smaller counterparts.
The EVO XL is the same as the smaller ones: 190 degrees for reclining the backrest, 4D armrests, class-4 seat adjustments and removable pillows.
According to the store page, the dimensions are 25.59 x 23.62 x 59.06 in, which makes it ideal for tall gamers thanks to its longer backrest and wider seat area. However, the heaviest weight it can manage is up to 150 kg.
The EVO XL uses PVC leather, cold-pressed foam, aluminium alloy and class-4 piston for the seat height adjustment. It’s pretty much the same as the smaller chairs.
There may be a bit of unnecessary extra padding on the backside but it is still an overall good chair to sit on. At least the seat rest is wide enough for you to move around. And, again, the pillows do not help much.
It is no surprise that the GT Omega EVO XL still suffers from the complicated assembly. Do check out the Reddit forums and other review sites to see how to properly manage the set-up.
There’s PRO and then there’s PRO XL – a much bigger and better version now including a 190-degree backrest. Its great lumbar support alone makes the chair more valuable. Other than that, everything about the GT Omega PRO XL is just like the others before it except for the fact that it is big – with the same measurements of an EVO XL.
From the 190-degree backrest to the 4D armrests, the GT Omega PRO XL is pretty much the same as the smaller counterpart.
Yet when it comes to size, the PRO XL does not disappoint for tall players thanks to its dimensions of 25.59 x 23.62 x 59.06 inches – perfect for all sizes too. Just be mindful that it only supports up to 150 kg in weight.

It’s an enlarged edition of the GT Omega PRO series so you can imagine how much roomier it is than the original version. We still have issues with the stiff pillows though.
No surprise here: the GT Omega PRO XL is as hard to assemble as it is with its smaller versions.
It is a bit of a no-brainer but the GT Omega ELITE Series is our top choice for the best GT Omega racing chair because of its overall great comfort, welcoming adjustments and just downright amazing on its own. But if you prefer something cheaper while retaining most of the good points of the Elite, you may want to buy the GT Omega PRO Series instead. Do you prefer fabric? The GT Omega PRO Series also has a fabric alternative! However, if you prefer something that accommodates to your 6-ft height, you will want to give the EVO XL or the PRO XL a shot.
There are no wrong choices here – every chair has its own strengths and weaknesses as a lightweight gaming chair, every seat offers decent bang for buck.
